Es basa lliurement en les viv\u00e8ncies d'herois an\u00f2nims -com les de l'enterrador de Paterna, Leoncio Bad\u00eda Navarro- que, amb la seva determinaci\u00f3, van deixar testimoni d'humanitat i dignitat enmig de l'horror i la barb\u00e0rie de la Guerra Civil i la postguerra. En l'espectacle, un actor prepara un mon\u00f2leg que representar\u00e0 davant els espectadors d'aqu\u00ed a uns dies. L'ha escrit ell mateix a partir del que la seva fam\u00edlia li va explicar durant anys sobre el seu avi i els seus amics, els quals van patir terribles episodis durant la postguerra. El personatge que interpreta ha d'enterrar, com cada dia, als afusellats que li porten al cementiri.
